Mikono Elephant Animal Toy

The handsewn fabric Elephant is created by Emily Wilondja, a refugee currently residing in a refugee camp in Kenya. Refugee artisans partner with Mikono, a Jesuit Refugee Service International project. 

Mikono works with 75 suppliers from over ten nationalities in or around Nairobi, Kenya. Each of them brings unique skills learned in their home countries or through livelihood training provided by Jesuit Refugee Service. When you shop at Mikono, you help a refugee make a living.
